Medical Schools

Currently, there is a shortage of almost 100,000 physicians in the United States. To resolve this shortage medical school enrollment will increase 30% by 2017. Supplying key medical instruments to students on a timely basis and at a cost that they can afford is a key step toward ensuring that there are enough trained doctors to treat patients worldwide.

For 30 years Universal Medical Products has partnered with medical schools to deliver dissection kits, stethoscopes, and additional products to help educate the future generation of doctors. We have worked closely with institutions to ensure that our products are high quality and also extremely relevant to the current physician best practices.

Two issues confounding university administration are skyrocketing enrollment and unpredictable forecasting of medical learning supplies. We work with university officials to predict enrollment throughout the year so that we can deliver medical training kits worldwide within 48 hours of request.  Additionally, we work with current physicians to recognize next generation tools that can be utilized within universities. Many times we provide learning institutions with their first usage of new surgical instruments and medical devices.

Key Focus Areas –

  • Medical school training kits using certified surgical instruments
  • Full scale anatomical models
  • Emergency preparedness kits
  • Health assessment equipment (Stethoscopes, Aneroid sphygmomanometers, digital monitoring devices, iPhone health attachments)
